France Telecom, Deutsche Telecom launch joint purchasing venture

Venture known as Buyin to start operating in Paris and Bonn on Monday.
France Telecom and Deutsche Telekom AG aim to save millions of euros every year by buying telecoms, network and software equipment together under a new joint venture.
The venture, called Buyin, will start operating from Paris and Bonn Monday, the two groups said in a statement Friday.
