Activities
EIDQ maintains the ITU-T standard E.115 and is also engaged in the development of next generation protocols based on new technology to further improve the quality of the services between national or international inquiry databases.
EIDQ operates the practice of working groups and, at present, two groups are involved in activities in support of the Association.
- The E.115 Protocol Maintenance and Development working group has developed the next standard ITU-T protocol which includes XML to provide flexibility and further enhance the E.115 over IP service.
- And, the Business Strategy group has the mandate to conduct Business Strategy analysis and propose strategic actions for the focus and direction of the Association.
